Bridge Construction – ROB & RUB

At Shri Bhavani Royal Infra & Construction (SBRIC)  we specialize in delivering safe, durable, and time-efficient bridge structures across railway and roadway corridors. Our expertise covers both Road Over Bridges (ROB) and Road Under Bridges (RUB), executed with advanced engineering techniques that ensure minimal traffic disruption and long-lasting performance.

Road Over Bridge (ROB)

A Road Over Bridge is constructed to eliminate level crossings by allowing road traffic to pass over the railway track. Our ROB solutions improve traffic flow, enhance safety, and reduce delays.

Road Under Bridge (RUB)

A Road Under Bridge enables smooth and safe road passage beneath railway lines. RUBs are ideal for improving rural and urban connectivity without interfering with train operations.

Construction Methods Used :

1. Pushing Method (Box Pushing Method)

The pushing method is widely used for constructing RUBs. In this technique, a precast RCC box is cast outside the track area and then pushed beneath the railway embankment using hydraulic jacks.

2. Forwarding Method (Girder Forwarding / Span Forwarding)

The forwarding method is commonly used in ROB construction, particularly for launching girders above railway lines.
In this method, the bridge girders or superstructure segments are assembled and then forwarded (moved/shifted) horizontally into their final position using rollers, winches, or launching equipment
